HOMESTAYS

Homestays are the ideal opportunity for the Spanish language student to practice their Spanish outside of the classroom in a Argentinian family environment. It is a widely recognised fact that students that live in Homestays are more likely to learn Spanish quicker as they are immersed in the language 24 hours a day.

How do I choose a Homestay?

The three things you need to think about when choosing a Homestay are:
1) Where do I want my Homestay to be located?
2) Which class of Homestay am I interested in? (Single, Twin or Special)
3) Am I coming to Bariloche on my own (individual room) or with a friend and I wish to share (twin room)?

What should I expect at a Homestay?

The Host will provide accommodation and meals as booked. Rooms will be cleaned, beds linen and towels changed at least once a week. The student will be provided with his / her own house key and is free to come and go as they please. The Host is there to offer help and advice as well as to take an interest in the student's well-being.

We aim to match a student's requirements as closely as possible with a suitable host. The more information you can give us about your requirements the easier it is for us to deliver what you are looking for. Students will not be placed in the same Homestay as others of the same mother-tongue, except by special request. Spanish is always the main language spoken in the home.

The furnished apartments will offer the comfort of a well equipped home for your convenience. All the apartments will provide you with the furniture and appliances necessary for a pleasant and comfortable stay, and will also make linens, towels, and cooking utensils available for your temporary stay in the city.
